Dynamic Association Between Board Independence and Firm Profitability: The Moderating Role of Director Ownership

The study investigates the association between board independence, directors' ownership, and organisational profitability. To illustrate links, case of listed nonfinancial enterprises on Dhaka Stock Exchange 2015 2019 is examined. effectively manage concern endogeneity, generalized method moments (GMM) used as econometric techniquein this research. reveals that independence has a negative significant effect profitability, however, shareholdings same positive significant.
